Teams make most of the day-to-day decisions about their business without a lot of direction from managers. They improve quality and productivity, schedule their work, give each other training and feedback, and each have a variety of skills.
Plant Technician
P&G Technicians do different kinds of work, from running packing equipment to controlling the process from a computer terminal or performing preventative maintenance. They are expected to get involved and be capable of taking charge of situations and confronting problems. Technicians in every role are expected to be good problem solvers. They need to understand the equipment they operate, how to use information to make decisions and how their work is part of the overall production process.
